Greg Jones
Chief Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer at KeyBank
Gregory (Greg) Jones, a Chicago native and Navy veteran, is Chief Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer at KeyCorp. In this role, Greg is accountable for leading the strategy and tactics to improve the acquisition, movement, development and retention of diverse talent and suppliers.
Prior to joining KeyBank, Greg held the role of Chief Diversity Officer at United Airlines, developing strategic and executive plans for embedding diversity and inclusion principles, policies, training, and behaviors throughout the global airline of more than 89,000 employees. He has also held roles at Northwestern Mutual, Bank of America, UBS, and Egon Zehnder. Greg started his career with General Electric Medical systems, currently known as GE Healthcare.
Greg attended Tuskegee and Stanford universities, where he received his undergraduate and graduate degrees, respectively in electrical engineering. He currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the Thurgood Marshall College Fund, Advisory Board Member for the organization of Black Aerospace Professionals, member of the Executive Leadership council, and Distinguished Visiting Professor at Johnson and Wales University.
Throughout his career, Greg has been recognized for his unwavering commitment to building inclusive teams, including being named to EBONY’s Power 100 list of influential and inspirational African-American leaders.
