Autonomous Systems Engineering Academy

The Autonomous Systems Engineering Academy was developed in partnership with the University of California, Irvine. Through a series of hands-on projects, students learn electronics, programming and computer-aided design as they work to design, build and fly their very own drone. The program includes industry-recognized training on state-of-the-art 3D design platforms.

Thanks to funding from corporate foundations, the program has been adapted for high schools and community colleges.

• ASEA in High School: This year-long program designed as a year-long engineering course for juniors and seniors, was piloted at Cristo Rey Philadelphia, thanks to a grant from the Deloitte Foundation. Read more. 
• ASEA at Community Colleges: credit-bearing engineering course available at community colleges in California and Phoenix provides students with training in collaborative 3-D engineering design platforms used by companies including Boeing, Northrop Grumman, Lockheed Martin, Tesla, Honda, HP and IBM. ASEA was adapted for community colleges thanks to a grant from Dassault Systemes U.S. Foundation. Read more.
