On December 6th, 2018, Moreno Valley College unveiled its brand new iMake Innovation Mobile Center, a mobile fabrication lab fitted with 3D printers, laser cutters, and much, much more.
Base 11 partnered with Moreno Valley College to assist in managing the mobile lab project, including equipment identification, overall design, installation, and training. This project is a precursor to the eventual full fixed Innovation Center on campus.
This makerspace-on-wheels will give students from all over access to the resources needed to take an idea from concept to finished product, all while promoting a creative environment that equips them for skilled careers in STEM and beyond.
